In the midst of adversity, amid the trials of a tumultuous summer in 2016, I found solace in conversation. From the unjust loss of an innocent lives to the ravages of nature's fury, Louisiana faced its share of challenges.

Through dialogue, this series emerged—a testament to resilience, a portrait of shared experiences, and a reflection on the profound impact of collective trauma.
